Come Build Inikadowa With Us!
Physical Construction & Assembly
July 8th to August 19th in Doyle, CA
This summer, we’re inviting volunteers, makers, and curious collaborators to join us in Doyle for a series of hands-on build sessions as we bring Inikadowa to life — a large-scale bamboo and lantern sculpture headed to Burning Man.
Whether you're experienced with tools or just eager to learn, this is a chance to be part of something meaningful. We’ll be bending bamboo, assembling Parol frames, attaching LED lights, hand-dyeing fabric, and constructing the bird’s structure piece by piece — all while sharing meals, stories, and culture in the spirit of collective creativity.
Come for a day, a weekend, or more. No special skills required — just bring your hands, heart, and a willingness to build something beautiful, together.
